2. April by Kunbi: Olakunbi Oyelese of April by Kunbi is a renowned Nigerian wedding dress designer. April by Kunbi is a fashion label which started in April 2010. This fashion company specializes in custom wedding gowns and bespoke evening gowns. So far he has dressed a host of Nigerian celebrities such as Agbani Darego to Genevieve Nnaji to Tiwa Savage and so on. With a fashion degree from New York Fashion Institute of Technology, we are safe to say Olakunbi knows what she’s doing and there’s no telling the heights which she would reach. She is happily married.
Andrea Iyamah Bridal: Andrea Iyamah Bridal is owned by Nigerian fashion designer Dumebi Iyamah whom currently resides in Ontario, Canada. This company was launched in 2013 and this brand is strongly influenced by it’s roots and the African culture. Each piece is different and it tells a story through vibrant colours and patterns. Though originally a swimsuit company, the brand has evolved into a bridal design company as well.
Bride’s by Nona: Brides by Nona is a top known fashion Bridal company owned by Super talented Nneka.C.Alexander. She is of Igbo descent from Nigeria. Bride’s by Nona bridal dress design company creates beautiful bespoke bridal pieces and evening gowns for Afro-caribbean black brides and bridesmaids. Based in Atlanta Georgia, Nneka has been able to create a niche for herself in the wedding industry. She has catered to the high and mighty in the society such as Ronke Raji, beauty blogger extraordinaire.
