Hi there, I am Oby and I am a lover of all things weddings. I draw inspiration from the most unique things like the yellow hue of sunset or the red flowers of a flame of the forest tree in full bloom, but most importantly I draw enthusiasm from years of experience and practical know-how. I am after creating fond memories that last, so we love to work with voguish couples who think outside the norm and trust me, nothing is unachievable.

The catalyst behind June Events was my campus fellowship back in the university. I derived so much joy speaking to caterers, coordinating decor, booking airline tickets and hotel rooms for visiting ministers and after I graduated, I just knew I was called to do this.

I later went on to take an internship position with a boutique wedding planning company based in London and ended up working with them for many years. I decided to branch out on my own and ever since my team and I have been helping a lot of couples get ready for forever after. The satisfaction on couples face is the only motivation I need to get out of bed the next day and do it all over again.

When I’m not planning weddings, I’m either creating fun and intuitive wedding content on my blog, Instagram or Pinterest or spending quality time in the presence of God. I also love cooking new and exciting dishes and reading beautifully written Christian romance fiction or catching a web series. Any SGIT fans?
